Anti-microbial Agent for Mattress Fabric S-C

Product overview:

This product can effectively control the breeding of microorganisms on the fabric, and can be widely used in the antibacterial finishing of clothing, towels, bedding, wet wipes and non-woven fabrics, etc. The fabric treated with the agent for bedding cloth has a high antimicrobial rate.

Product character:

● Low odor;

● Not easy to produce yellowing;

● Safety: non-toxic side effects, no irritation to skin, mucous membranes, eyes;

● Stability: stable to light and heat, stable in the range of pH 2-10;

● Durability: mainly chemical covalent bond and auxiliary electrostatic effect makes it firmly combined with cellulose fibers, thus providing excellent washing fastness; The aging is the same as the fabric life;

● Environmentally friendly: Non-volatile; No heavy metals;

● Oeko-Tex Standard 100: Meet the Oeko-Tex standard 100 Class II-IV standards.

Product performance:

● Appearance: colorless to light yellow emulsion transparent liquid 

● Ionicity: Cationic

● Compatibility: Compatible with most finishing agents   

Application methods:

In order to achieve excellent antimicrobial properties, it is recommended that the amount of antibacterial agent S-C for fabric bedding is 1-2% ( weight ratio to fabric).

In order to obtain good washing resistance, it is necessary to increase the amount of antimicrobial agent and increase the cross-linking agent.

This product can be used by a variety of methods such as padding,impregnation, spraying, coating and foam application.

Drying/setting temperature: generally 130℃, not more than 150℃.

1. Padding method

The undiluted antibacterial agent S-C should be slowly added to the stirred water and adjusted to the desired pH , while the appropriate wetting agent can be added to improve the rolling rate.

2. Impregnation method

Under the condition of a certain temperature and bath ratio, the fabric is impregnated in the solution containing a certain concentration of antibacterial agent S-C for a certain period of time, and after dehydration and drying, good antibacterial properties were obtained.

3. Foam method

The antibacterial agent S-C is added to the foam bath according to the instructions for foaming use. In order to have sufficient permeability on medium and thick fabrics, the foam must be applied on the wet material.

4. Coating application

Antimicrobial agent S-C can be mixed with water soluble or oil soluble back adhesive, please check its compatibility before useing.

5. Spraying method:

Antimicrobial agent S-C should only be sprayed in a diluted form, especially in a 1:50 ratio with water. The use of spray method must pay attention to take necessary labor protection measures.

Test methods:

The antimicrobial properties of textiles processed with antibacterial agent S-C can be tested using GB/T 20944.2-2007 "Evaluation of antimicrobial properties of textiles Part 2: Absorption method".

Note:

1. Pre-test is required before mass production to confirm the compatibility between various auxiliaries;

2. Stable storage at room temperature to 0℃, if frozen, it needs to be melted before use

3. The use of dipping process should avoid the use of special, acid-sensitive fluorescent whitening agent in the same bath. White bleached cotton before useing it should be confirmed to have all the residual bleach removed;

4. If you want to achieve the antimicrobial effect of washable, the blended fabric of antibacterial treatment should be ensure to contain at least 35% of cotton or artificial fibers.

Packing:

25kg/barrel; Or pack according to customer requirements.

Storage:

Store in a dry and well-ventilated place away from light;

Do not store in high temperature, open air or places with fire sources;

Store in an unused container and keep the container airtight;

Store away from incompatible materials and food containers, protect containers from mechanical damage, and check containers regularly for leaks.
